Just In Times For Valentine’s Day, TomTom Slashes Prices on TomTom Cardio GPS Running Watch
TomTom has been around long enough that they’ve built a strong reputation, mostly in GPS navigation devices.
Given that strength, it’s not a surprise that they branched out into GPS Running Watches a few years ago. With the incredible rush of fitness trackers and GPS running watches that have entered the scene, TomTom has recently slashed prices on some pretty incredible products.
Take the TomTom Cardio GPS Runner, for example. It usually retails for $249 on the TomTom website, but in the face of so much competition and continuous product cycle churn, TomTom has cut the price dramatically (as low as $116.95) on it’s standard Black model and is offering deeper discounts on discontinued colors, like $89.99 for a White/Pink band.
The TomTom Cardio GPS Runner tracks heart rate, distance, elevation and pace. Other cool features include stored previous runs so you can race against yourself or even run with a virtual partner.

It’s a chunky beast, so it’s not likely going to be a part of your all day wardrobe. It has a large screen that is easy to ready and navigation is very intuitive.
The GPS Running Watch space is pretty much dominated by Garmin, with TomTom a close second. A comparable Garmin model to the TomTom Cardio GPS Running watch would be the Garmin Forerunner 225 which looks a little less chunky and more like a watch than the TomTom Cardio GPS Runner.
