Joule Smart Earring Is A Hidden Fitness Tracker
The latest device to enter the ‘Smart ‘Jewelry’ segment of wearables is an earring backer called Joule.
The pint sized device allows it’s wearer to tract and record their fitness activity without the need for a larger, more obvious tracker.
Working with both iOS and Android via the Joule App, the device tracks heart rate, steps, calories burned and overall fitness activity.
It’s a tiny device, about the size of your pinky fingernail, which means it may be challenged for battery life. BioSensive, the makers of Joule, report the device needs to be charged daily but what is interesting is the case that Joule ships in is its charger, holding up to 10 charges in its battery….which is much more convenient than plugging in something as tiny as Joule.
Joules will start shipping on April 18, 2017 and are available at shopjoule.com
